Introduction and Welcome for the 2024-25 Season

 Hello, everyone, and welcome to Quad County Sports. We are a sports media group dedicated to the coverage of high school and amateur sports in Southwestern Illinois, namely Clinton, Madison, St. Clair, and Monroe Counties, Illinois (hence the name, although our coverage area also includes schools in Jersey and Randolph Counties). 

August has arrived (and some warm weather to go with it), and that means that we will have high school athletic competition this month. Our primary focus for the fall season will be on Football, Boys Soccer, and Girls Volleyball, although we will try our best to recognize outstanding achievement in other sports (Golf, Cross Country, etc.). We will have some previews for our main focuses, which will be released starting Monday, August 19th. We'll also be releasing our Polls for those sports on Mondays, starting on August 26th.
